Room based cooling

The room-based cooling solutions are widely used by large enterprises. The solution is fully customised based on the client’s IT infra and Budget. The cold plenum is created under the raised floor, and by using the perforated tile the required CFM is thrown to each rack. The return hot air is moved from the rear side of the racks and goes back to the precision cooling hot air chamber.

The following components are used for the conventional Data Center solutions.
Raised floor System

The required UDL & Point load of rising floor systems will be calculated based on each rack load.

Fire Rating :

The Panels will confirm to class O and Class 1 Fire Ratings tested as per CIRC 91/61 or BS 476 Part 6 & 7 ( 60 min).

Understructure :

The understructure system consists of stringers of size 525 x 30x 25 x 0.8 mm thick to form a grid of 600 x 600mm. These stringers are locked into the pedestal head and run both ways. The US system will provide adequate solid, rigid and quiet support for access to floor panels. The US system will provide a minimum clear, uninterrupted height of 450/ 600 mm between the bottom of the floor and the bottom of the access floor for electrical conducting and wiring.

Floor Insulation

Insulating the floor of the Data Centre prevents condensation on the external wall; it also helps to save energy by containing the temperature within the room and zero heat transfer through the concrete walls. Raised Floors used in the Data centre are completed with Anti-static laminated to prevent static and at the same time, ease of maintenance.  Underfloor, space has to be insulated with minimum 19 mm thick floor insulation to create air plenum for underfloor Air circulation.

Floor insulation traps millions of tiny pockets of still air or other gases within its structure. These air pockets provide resistance to heat flow. Insulation reduces radiant, convective and conducted heat flow.

Precision Air Conditioner

Chiller / DX-based precision cooling system will be supplied and installed inside the Data Center Considering the heat load.

Precision Air Conditioner also Know as Close Control Unit (CCU) or Close Control Air Conditioner or Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) or server room air conditioner use for precise control of Temperature and Humidity required for critical application like Server room, Datacenter, Laboratories, Telecommunication room etc.

UPS - Redundant cabling.

UPS Cabling with redundant provisioning for server and network Racks, including all the necessary cables and sockets, will be provided inside the DC.

Smoke Detection Systems

A dedicated smoke detection panel and Smoke detectors, Multi sensors, and Sounders will be provisioned in each zone inside the DC

Suppression system.

Fire suppression Cylinder with all accessories including novec 1230 gas, primary completion kit discharge tube, nozzles etc for all 3 Zones – Above ceiling, Middle and below raised floors.

Water Leakage Systems

A water leakage system and sensor cables will be provided below the raised floor.

1. Rodent repellent system

A rodent repellent system with necessary transducers will be provided connected inside the DC.

2. VESDA -Aspiration System

Aspiration Systems with all accessories(Flush capillary Sampling point, will be provisioned inside the DC for early smoke detection.

3. Networking – Structured Cabling

Cat6 Copper Structured cabling, including necessary cables and patch panels, will be provided

Environment Monitoring systems

Mini Environment Monitoring system-Mini Environment Monitoring system with advanced sensor support monitors on critical environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity will be installed inside the Data Center. The advanced DCIM can monitor each rack’s power consumption and temperature status.
